We got Andrew from Product to talk to us for our first ‘Intriguing Interns Of Cialfo’ interview. Here’s what he had to say :
Tell us something fun about yourself!
I do a bit of magic! Started in secondary school when my friend and I had to perform something at a primary school in Malaysia for a community service project, and we just picked up a few tricks. Since then, I’ve been learning some card tricks from videos and books. I also like to play the guitar and board games with my friends during my free time.
What is the most fun part of your day at Cialfo?
I enjoy interacting with other people in Cialfo since everybody is very chill and I feel that there is a very warm culture. Ironically, I also enjoy it when it gets super busy, as I learn a lot from my manager and I know that our hard work eventually pays off when the product gets launched.
Biggest takeaways from your internship at Cialfo?
While I have learned technical skills in Excel and Jira, I have also developed soft skills such as interaction and gained a deeper understanding of management and web development, as well as how a company structure works. More importantly, it has also trained my critical thinking by constantly thinking of possible improvements for our software.
