Meet Irene Liu, our Customer Success Manager who is celebrating her 2nd year anniversary in Cialfo. A super cheerful woman whose laughter is her signature, loves dogs but ironically has a pet cat :P She loves catching up with her girl-friends, watching comedies and eating junk food.
Q. How has your job and your role changed over the year/s?
A. I used to do CS Data related work and helped around with recruitment for about six months before our awesome HRM joined Cialfo. I was then promoted to be a CSM in region China.
Q. How has Cialfo supported you in the growth and success of your career?
A. Our company and my team are all very sweet and supportive. Stanley was the one who brought me to the CS team, and his delicate working style really encouraged me. Each and every person in Cialfo understood and was happy for me when they knew I was going to be a mother. So much so that my CS team even changed the meeting room just in case I had to climb stairs. Stanley understood the difficulty as a parent and told me not to worry and just take a rest during maternity leave. My teammate Dorothy stepped in and took care of my responsibilities as well while I was on leave — I have received a lot of love at Cialfo. ❤
Q. Your most memorable moment at Cialfo?
A. I have so many! But one of the funniest and also the most memorable moments was the time a few colleagues including Stanley, Grayson, Hitendra were competing on our belly sizes, when I was in the 6th month of my pregnancy. And you know what, I didn’t win the competition! hahha but I am not going to tell you who won! :P
Q. Describe your team members in 3 words?
A. Sweet, Supportive, Motivated
Q. Cialfo has set an example by creating a gender equality ratio of 1:1 in the company. How has the company supported you as a woman and displayed its ethics and values to you in different situations?
A. As mentioned, my company and my team were very supportive during my pregnancy, which makes our female colleagues feel more secure and out of the worry of losing the job due to this particular reason. Our company also allows us to work remotely, which is a huge plus to balance work and life, especially the ones with kids.
Q. How is Cialfo inspiring women to take up more leadership roles?
A. I would say Cialfo gives every member free options. Cialfo is a fast growing company full of motivated people who want to achieve more in career and life. But it also offers different paths according to each one’s choice. The leaders hand out interesting and new projects all the time.
Q. What is the best part about working for Cialfo?
A. The best part for me is being in such supportive and diverse working environment.
Q. Biggest takeaways / things that you discovered about yourself from your association with Cialfo?
A. I have so much to learn from so many young people around me!
